• Inauguration: is the first part of a thank you letter, which includes greetings for the one reading the letter. This part must contain proper salutation; if the letter is addressed to a professional matter, then one must use ‘dear’ or ‘respected’ along with their full name and title. If the letter is addressed to a close relationship, then one must use the word ‘dear’ with just their first name; or they can also address the reader as ‘hey’ and begin their letter.

• The Message: This part of the letter can begin with a message or a thought or something that occurred in the past. The message should be short and convenient and directly shift towards the purpose behind writing the letter. If it is a professional thank you letter, then one can express their gratitude for any assistance that the reader helped them with. They can express their thankfulness for any matter they want. In other cases, thank you letters are more general like showing gratefulness to someone for just being a part of your life.

• Conclusion: as the writer has thanked the person receiving the letter for whatever cause, they can move towards the conclusion of the letter which includes bidding goodbye and ending the letters with words like ‘much lovely’ if the letter is addressed to someone close and ‘kindly’ or ‘sincerely’ is the letter is addressed to someone within the professional field.
